Here are a few images of some critters I’ve seen this month while out birding.
Big Horn Sheep- Males: These guys were such a great treat to see! I also saw Ewes with lambs up higher in the hills, and further west, but the images aren’t good as they were too far out of my lenses range.

I’ve photographed this building several times since moving to No. NV.
Every time I go birding around this area this little cottage or storehouse calls me. I know nothing about it other than it’s an unused building on a ranch next to a place on my birding rotation.
4 days ago this was all covered in snow, but with snow last week followed by days of rain we now have a lakeside view!
Reflections 3/12/2023
We have more rain in the forecast so I imagine this will get more water this week. We’re about 15 ft above this so hopefully we’ll be alright.
There has been some flooding around the valley already. Fingers crossed it doesn’t get really bad. The county has sandbag stations set up across the valley for anyone who wants to get sandbags. The only requirement…bring your own shovel.

There are several interesting and old building in Colusa, CA. so, while I had some free time I thought I’d visit a couple for Thursday Doors.
The first one I found was Our Lady of Lourdes Church with its beautiful bricks, arched windows, lovely steeple, and pretty red door complete with pretty street lamps.
