Here’s a small collection of Red Doors from a walk-about in San Francisco earlier this year.

N°290

Red Door N°290

N°341 & N°343:

An odd angle, I know. If I remember correctly there was a car or something in front of these doors that bugged me so I photographed them this way.  I like the reflection of the window and tree branches in the arched windows.

N° 341 and N° 343 Red Doors

…and lastly, N°443 & N°445 with a bonus little White door. 🙂

N°443 & 445 Red Doors

The right door has a lovely reflection of a tree too which goes nicely with the potted plants on the stairs.  This hill was on the Steep side I recall.

Thursday Doors 31/52 N°213 W.

I’m  back in my NYC files for this week’s Thursday Doors post.

After walking the Highline and working up an appetite we stopped at a Taco Vendor’s on the Highline and enjoyed street tacos and nachos.  Full now we headed back the way we came and we were wondering what to do next when I spotted the Empire State Building’s spire. It didn’t look like it was too far away so, we decided to walk there.

While walking there I spied this red door and had to stop for a picture of it.

St. John the Baptist Church’s Parish Office Door

Right next to it was a garden gate with which led to a side door to the church.

St John the Baptist Church Side Door

I loved the potted garden, and the doors with the clover moulding and pretty stone archway.

I never saw the front of the church or the inside, but wish I had! I have no information about the church building or church I’m afraid.

Thursday Doors 12/52 Nº40

I didn’t manage to get a door photograph that I really liked this past week, so I dug deep into my archives…all the way back to 2010 for this image.

Nº 40- I’ve had a thing for red doors a long time. 🙂  I could sit here with my morning or afternoon tea watching the world pass by.

Thursday Doors 9/52 San Francisco

While I was in San Francisco walking around North Beach last week I couldn’t help but take notice of the doors;  quite a few caught my eye.

Nº 551, 553 & 555 – I love these doors, moulding, and color scheme.

Nº 551, 553, 555

Nº 1405- These are so modern or perhaps it’s Art Deco? I think it’s a bit glamorous. 🙂

I really like this shade of yellow. It’s so uplifting; like sunshine.

Nº1405

Nº 4:  The wire work, arch, and color scheme grabbed my attention with this door. I saw it while on my way to lunch, and had to stop to make the image.

Nº 4

Nº 325, & Nº 327- These were by far the cheeriest, and prettiest doors I saw on my walk-about. They were also pretty steep. 🙂

Nº 325 & Nº 327

I have more doors from this walk about that I’ll be sharing at some point.

Thursday Doors 6/52: 3 Red Doors

Copyright ©2016 Deborah M. Zajac. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED

I’m into doors of color at the moment so this week I present 3 Red Doors from my neighborhood walk-abouts.

Nº 5049

Red Door Nº5049

Nº 131

Red Door Nº 131

Nº 2033

Red Door Nº2033

The top two panel doors are popular in my area. I’ve seen quite a few of them

painted red.  I looked at getting this same door when shopping for a new door last year, but  we bought a different door with more glass.

The bottom door reminds me of farmhouse door. I don’t see many of these in my neighborhood which is classic Suburban.
