For this week’s Thursday Door post I’d like to share one of the first doors I photographed while in Manhattan last week.

We (my sisters & I), were having a tea break after a long day of sightseeing when I spotted this set of doors.

I loved the green portico with dark wood, and gold accessories. What I love most after uploading it was finding the reflections of my sisters in the glass!

This post is part of Norm 2.0’s Thursday Doors.  If you love doors and would like to see the doors others are posting, or post doors you’ve photographed and join other door lovers from around the world click here.

At the end of Norm’s latest Thursday Door post is a little Blue Link-up/View button click it to be taken to a page with all the links, or add your own.

More to come…

  1. Love the reflection and also the details around the doors! Very cool! 🙂

  2. Is that you across the street!! Wonderful image again!

  3. This is a nice one and the reflection does add something special to the shot.
When I saw that you were in NYC I wondered if you’d be taking any time for door hunting. Glad to see you did and that the hunting was good 😀

    • Thank you so much Norm! If I lived in NYC I think I’d be able to do a door a week for the rest of my life. 🙂 There are so many great doors there.

  4. Love these doors! The reflections are cool!

  5. So many doors in NYC – this one is a classic look. I am amazed that you got a photo with on one around. I won’t ask if you had to wait long.

    • Thanks Dan! Surprisingly there was little to no foot traffic, just cars. I waited through one stop light for the cars to pass then took the image. Not too long of a wait. 🙂

A penny for your thoughts...
