Some of you may be aware that in April this year I went to Texas to bird. I also came across some very cool doors. I’m way behind and a bit overwhelmed with all the new birds and sorting through the images. There were a lot. 98 Lifer birds a lot.
So, bare with me as I slowly work my way through birds, doors, and all the things.
Here’s one door I loved. Somewhere in the Rio Grand Valley. I didn’t make a note of where this door was. 🤦🏻♀️

I love the arched theme, the sun with long rays and the natural colors on the walls beside it. The hardware stands out in gold and the rust below the middle ray is just icing on the door cake.
This post is part of the weekly challenge Thursday Doors hosted by Dan Antion over at https://nofacilities.com/

more to come…
Very unique and a great add to your growing collection!

That is a beautiful door, Deborah. I like how they used the entire space of the panel for the sunburst.
98 Lifer birds sounds amazing!

An elegant door and beautifully photographed.
P.S. I, too, had trouble commenting. I was successful through the reader.. It’s been happening to me off and on on other WP blogs and mine, too!

I’m sorry you had trouble commenting as well, Suzette! I don’t get it. It’s been an issue for me with a good handful of the blogs I follow. It’s easier for me to just come to my Dashboard and open the reader and comment from there.
I’m glad you stuck it out and left me this comment to let me know. I’m also very glad you like the door. 😊

Oh, no worries at all, really. It seems to be a common WP issue lately.
I enjoyed your share. Thanks again

A beautiful door! I have tried commenting on your site with the MacBook but it tells me I must be logged in when I am already logged in. Not sure why.

The same thing has been happening to me for months! It’s very frustrating. I have to comment from my WP site’s reader.

You’ll have to go back down to the Rio Grande Valley and keep driving around till you find that door again. You owe it to us.
I did a visual search at images.google.com and turned up a post showing the same door, but unfortunately that post didn’t identify the location.

Oh wow! That’s still amazing! I hope to go back next spring to go birding again. Who knows maybe I’ll even see this door again.

It’s a beautiful door; too bad it’s got that sticker attached. I can’t quite tell, but it sure does look like a Mastercard symbol’s part of the sticker. Maybe the door leads to a shop or restaurant.

I tried zooming in to see what the sticker says but, it just pixelated. Could be a restaurant or near one. I didn’t do any shopping.
