I thought I’d share several images I’ve made in the last few weeks and have been working on to share.
Golden Hour over the 13th Fairway, the Eastern Sierras, and the marsh as seen looking southwest from my patio.

A new bird for me! A Rough-winged Swallow with lunch. If I have not made the correct ID for this one please let me know!

Last Friday a friend came up for a Doctor’s appointment and spent the night, but after her appointment, we went out exploring my area looking for some Nevada Wild Mustangs; we had Lady Luck with us b/c we found a small band! Doing a little research we discovered that this Black/Blue Stallion is called Zorro.

Here’s one of Zorro’s band members with some Hitchhikers.

I’m looking forward to getting to know the Wild Mustangs of Nevada and this band.
To close out this week’s post I’ll share a sunset from last week. This was made while I was on my patio.

I hope you’re all having a great week so far, and as they say out here in the Valley, let’s get our Hump Day Dance on and bump those hips! 😂

more to come…
All great shots and the patio just keeps giving the gifts of gorgeous photos. 🙂

Wow that is some view from your patio! Of course, I particularly like the horse photos. How thrilling to see them in the wild like that. The stallion certainly looks like a Zorro.

What a gorgeous view! And what handsome animals! I love the clarity of your photographs. Crisp as ozone. The delicacy of the colors is simply amazing, especially in the same photo with dramatic light.

Jennie, yes both the top and bottom images are from my backyard patio. I don’t think I’ll ever stop pinching myself to make sure it’s not a dream, or ever get tired of the view.
You’re very welcome! Thanks, for coming over! 😀

That was LAST week. This week was just rain and work and errands. Oh, wait, you mean the night we shopped and got Panera for six? Yeah, the alone time was gooo-ooo-ood. Brief, but you’re right, not dull. Still, did I mention rain and work? NO majestic horsies, NO grand horizons! 😛

From your patio Deborah? My, what a view! The pictures are great too. I find the idea of wild horses very romantic, although I suppose the animals themselves don’t feel that way in rough circumstances. But still. The wildest animal we got in my country are escaped parakeets who thrive in our parks. No! Wait! We got wolves since a year or so. They even seem to have produced offspring. Some folks are happy the wolves are back. The owners of sheep on wich the wolves almost exlusively feed not so much. I don’t know. I think I rather have mustangs. 🙂

Me too! The ranchers here in the states that have wolves aren’t so keen on them feeding on their livestock and livelihood either.
Yes, that my backyard view. I am still pinching myself to make sure it’s not a dream. I’m really here!

My week has been okay, but I certainly haven’t seen any landscape like you have here and definitely not any handsome horses. Thank you for sharing. I’m guessing you’re still pinching yourself on this relocation. 🙂

I hope your week stays okay or gets better. How’d the sugar cookies come out? Is your little sewing project staying little?

Sugar cookies were good, and the material has been washed so far. I really have to push myself to sew in the summer. LOL
