While crawling along 19th Ave in San Francisco heading north traffic to get on the Golden Gate Bridge was awful.  I spied this SFFD truck as we approached it I got my iPhone camera out to make a photo of those doors.

  1. Hope you weren’t in a rush and weren’t driving when you shot this. Bridge traffic seems to be getting worse these days and it looks like you took this on Thursday at close to 11 a.m. so that’s a bad sign when its not even commute hours.

    1. No, not in a rush, but after two hours and still not reaching the bridge Dan, Billee, and I called it. We had dinner on PCH at a seafood place with a beach view, with good food, and wine, and then back to Dan’s to get our car and head home. It was a pretty good day of ship viewing, farmer’s market, and street photography too.

      I wasn’t driving. 🙂

        1. Hum…Oh! You threw me there with the reference to the Japanese ship! Yes, that was the day we toured the American NOAA Ship with a Japanese sur name the Bell M. Shimada. 🙂
One day I’ll do a post on her. 🙂

  2. This is a gorgeous set of doors and definitely life changing! 😉
The red pops, the natural green setting adds to this as well as gold brass details making the doors extra shiny and special, Deborah. xo

  3. Those are great doors! The best way to see them is walking/driving/being stuck behind them. Much better than if they’re backing up to meet you 🙂
