While crawling along 19th Ave in San Francisco heading north traffic to get on the Golden Gate Bridge was awful. I spied this SFFD truck as we approached it I got my iPhone camera out to make a photo of those doors.

more to come…
Awesome, I would have never thought of doors on a vehicle. Love it!
🙂 Thank you so much!
PS. Left a comment on your post with a Sat. adventure, which held a compliment on your painting! hugs xo
I must have missed that one! I’m sorry!! I’ll go look for it.
Hope you weren’t in a rush and weren’t driving when you shot this. Bridge traffic seems to be getting worse these days and it looks like you took this on Thursday at close to 11 a.m. so that’s a bad sign when its not even commute hours.
No, not in a rush, but after two hours and still not reaching the bridge Dan, Billee, and I called it. We had dinner on PCH at a seafood place with a beach view, with good food, and wine, and then back to Dan’s to get our car and head home. It was a pretty good day of ship viewing, farmer’s market, and street photography too.
I wasn’t driving. 🙂
Was that the special tour of the Japanese ship? Hope you guys got some good photos.
Hum…Oh! You threw me there with the reference to the Japanese ship! Yes, that was the day we toured the American NOAA Ship with a Japanese sur name the Bell M. Shimada. 🙂
One day I’ll do a post on her. 🙂
What an unexpected surprise to find an unusual door:)
Thank you so much Jesh! I’m looking forward to seeing your studio door! 🙂
if not coming week, then soon:):) Have a great weekend!
The doors of first responders are always a welcome sight even in traffic backup. 🙂
🙂 So true Judy! Thank you for looking and commenting!
This is a gorgeous set of doors and definitely life changing! 😉
The red pops, the natural green setting adds to this as well as gold brass details making the doors extra shiny and special, Deborah. xo
Thank you so much for your lovely comment and thoughts Robin!
It is a pleasure stopping by and now will catch up with your posts. 🙂
I’m not a fan of slow traffic, but those doors are a beauty! 🙂
Thank you so much Amy!
Wonderful doors!

Thank you so much Janet!
Those are great doors! The best way to see them is walking/driving/being stuck behind them. Much better than if they’re backing up to meet you 🙂
So true! LOL! Thank you so much Dan!
Good old 19th Ave. Can’t tell you how many planes I missed sitting there.
Ugh! One has to leave pretty far ahead now-a-days to make sure you don’t miss your plane. 😦
I always left Marin (or Sonoma) at 4:00am for a 7:00am plane.
