This is amazing! Your photos always touch me
Thank you so much Lynn! Nice to see you again! Hope you summer was awesome!
Thanks!!
This is a beautiful photograph which has the unique quality of looking exotic! Deborah, thanks for doing whatever you did to create this artistic picture.
Thank you so much Robin! The late evening light was so gorgeous that day while we were on our walk. It really made the Thistle pop!
It certainlt did pop! Evening light changes appearances so much.
My grandies like to tell people that Eeyore likes eating thistles! I cannot imagine why donkeys do this, but maybe A.A. Milne was a country boy (?!) 🌾🌻
Lovely capture and composition. I like the almost square format.
the colour tones are gorgeous in the light Deb!
Thank you so much Hannah! Hope you have a wonderful week!
you too!!!
🙂 Thank you! xx
Your mixing of light and color on this one is eye catching!
Thank you so much John!
I have found quite an admiration for thistle this year. This shot is stunning with that golden light on the stalks!
Thank you so much Amy! Aren’t they beautiful and interesting in all phases of their lives. I find them so, and great subjects for photography.
They sure are! 🙂
😊
Thistle is highly underrated, I think. I happen to love it in all its many forms, and I’ve noticed the birds and bees do as well. You’ve captured the varying texture here, as well as the dimension, and oh, that light! I love it! ❤
I agree with you I love thistle and teasel. Thank you so much for the lovely comment!
Magical lighting 😊
Thank you so much Myriam!
I love how the limited color stands out in this photo. Between that and the focus, it’s a beautiful image.
Thank you so much Dan! I loved the golden light on those drying/dying stalks, and leaves the most.
