Thanks for sharing the American Dipper … great shots and interesting facts!
Thank you so much, Denise!!
Fabulous work, Deborah. That’s so cool! Hugs on the wing.
Thank you so much, Teagan! Hugs back!
KUDOS on an excellent shoot!!!
Thank you so much, Denise! The only thing that would have made it a better shoot is if I could have seen it from start to end, but from my position the Moon dipped below the mountains for the second half so I missed that last hour or so. I have seen and photographed the whole thing before so I am okay with that this time. 😀
So nice. I love moon shots (if you’ll pardon the pun). 🙂
LOL!! No pardon needed! Thank you so much, Paul. I love them too. 😀😂
I hope the work didn’t leave you as strung out as these phases of the moon.
LOL!!! At first I was a bit panicked because the sprinklers were on in the middle of the night at the golf course!! Who knew they watered all night?!!
I thought they watered about 4 in the morning when I see them watering the green behind my backyard.
Thankfully, that section where I wanted to be for a good view of the moon stopped before the eclipse began.
This sequence is absolutely spectacular!
Thank you so much, Jennie! 😀
You’re welcome!
🙏🏻😀
Wow!! I love this, Deborah!! So cool that you got to see this.
Thank you so much, Amy!! I didn’t get to see the whole thing from where I live because the Moon dipped below the mountains for the last hour of the Eclipse, but it was neat seeing as much as I was able to see.
Very nice, did you shoot it from you backyard patio? I wished I stayed up to shoot it but I would have to had to drive somewhere for that shoot and there has been too many robberies of photo equipment lately so I didn’t want to risk it.
Thank you so much, Gordon! When I was planning the shoot I thought I would be able to shoot from my backyard patio, but when I started lining it up I saw there would be trees in the way so I drove down the street to one of the ponds in the golf course and shot from there thru Totality then I came home and shot an image of the partial eclipse as the moon was setting then it dropped below the mountains and I was unable to see the last hour of the eclipse here because of the mountains.
Thankfully, several friends that did shoot it in the city seem like they were safe and I’m not hearing of any being robbed. I worried about that for you and our friends!!
I saw a couple of recent stories about robberies in the City so I’m being cautious as I do go out alone to shoot at night sometimes but mainly out of the City.
I probably read the same stories you read in SFGate.
We’ll have to talk more for the next eclipse we will be able to see here in the Western States maybe we can meetup and shoot somewhere safe together.
That would be nice.
This is so cool and beautiful, Deborah! Well done!!
Thank you so much, Donna! 😀
