I love how the sun works in this wonderful photo.
I did too, Jennie it was lovely. Thank you so much for the lovely comment! 💕
My pleasure, Deborah!
Love your American Robin Brenda, and the way you captured it, a greatly revealing pose and interesting light variations. Looks far more stately than our robins. Love coloration of the bird with orange our orangey ones are called Flame Robins, and most others have various shades of red on their chest, except our common Eastern Yellow Robin, which is bright Yellow and featured on the cover of my new book. Enjoy your spring birding!
Thank you so much, Ashley! I’d love to see your Robins! Birding here isn’t quite as exciting as most of the Migrants have moved on leaving the usual suspects behind. 😀
Perfect pose, wonderfully captured!
Thank you so much, Belinda! 😀
Nice shot. 🙂
Thank you so much, Judy!
A lovely photo, Deborah. Superb lighting.
Thank you so much, John!!
Beautiful shot in lovely, but difficult, light!
Thank you so much, Brian!
Oh so very very lovely, Deborah. A beautiful portrait and composition. Also, it occurs to me that it is not very common to find an American Robin in a pine tree.
Thank you so much, Jet!! I was just thrilled to see him land almost in front me and my camera. 😀
Ditto the above comments, Deborah. The light is just perfect and the robin so clear. Saw lots of robins back in Illinois which was fun.
Thank you so much, Janet! He’s a beauty. I’m happy he took a break from foraging to pose there for me lost in thought. 😀
So thoughtful of him!
😀
Lovely, Deborah! S/he looks so relaxed, so calm; the lost in thought gaze is perfect. Your timing is perfect! ❤️
Great shot!
Thank you so much, Pit!
Wow! That is a wonderful photo.
Thank you so much, Ally!
There’s so much to love about this photo – very nice work, Deborah.
Thank you so much, Dan! I was thrilled when it landed almost right in front of me to look east and get lost in thought a few seconds. 😀
