Oh no! Sorry, I may not have waited long enough on my comment way back when I pressed like but meant I Love varieties of birds.
Your Western bluebird is brilliantly blue and those soft red and pink toned on his upper chest are beautiful. What a dear bluebird! 🐦
What is interesting is our blue Jays are big (almost like crows) and our bluebirds are petite (like European robins).
Thank you so much Robin! This Bluebird was so vivid I thought it might be a different bird for a little while.
Excellent photos! That blue! I especially love the one where he is flying with the worm!!! 🙂
Thank you so much Myriam! I’m so glad that shot came out. He took off so fast. I wasn’t sure my reaction time was fast enough.
These western bluebirds are beautiful, I enjoy them so much, nice set.
Thank you so much John!
Thank you so much llze!
You are welcome!
Lovely images. Brought some joy to my Sunday 🙂
Thank you so much Lilka!!
Our Ohio bluebirds are small like the European robins. Your western bluebirds are like our American robins. Funny how this goes, Deb. 🙂 🐦 Thanks for saying we could sit and chat for some time together, on a bench.
Outside of the occasional bluejay, I don’t get to see many blue birds. This one is a cutie 🙂
This one was so, so blue; the most vivid blue bird I’ve ever seen! I thought for awhile it must be a different bird!
Blue Jays are common here too. Bluebirds I see only in Spring.
I love your birds Deb!!
Thank you so much Hannah! xx
What a beautiful bird! Lovely shots Deborah. I love how he pops off of the browns! 🙂
What a pretty little guy. The bird house we put up in the yard was supposed to attract blue birds. We got a nice house sparrow family instead. I rarely see a bluebird around here, so this was a treat. Great capture of him in flight.
Thank you so much Dan! I never thought about putting in a birdhouse to attract them! I’ll have to see what food they like besides worms too if I go that route.
Your Sparrow family has been treat for me to see through your viewfinder. I rarely have them at my feeder.
We were told to have the house up by February because blue bird start looking for a next early. Instead, Snoopy moved in and staked her claim.
Snoopy and co. are pretty cute though. 🙂
They are. This year, they just aren’t leaving. She still sits in the roof and there’s still activity in the house. Oh, and she owns it. Maddie and I got buzzed for getting too close.
Thank you so much John!
Awesome! Love the taking off shot especially!
Thank you so much Cheryl! I barely got that one in. 🙂
Thise shots usually are “surprises”. 😊
I especially love the last capture.
Thank you so much Camie!!
Your bluebird images brought me happiness today 🙂
I’m so happy!! 🙂 Thank you for the comment. I love hearing from you!
