I’m in NYC this week with my two sisters having our first annual Sisters Trip, and it’s also our premiere trip to NYC! When this post goes public it will be our first full day in the city. I’m so excited!
Not finding a good door over the week-end before I left, and knowing I wouldn’t be online much this week I dipped into my archives for this week’s Thursday Doors post.
I spotted this old barn or garage in Maxwell, CA while birding. earlier this year.

I’ll catch up with you all when I get back! You know I’ll be looking for doors while there. I wonder how long it will take to get my sisters hooked on doors and windows? 🙂
I’ll be posting on Instagram while there so, if you’re wondering what I’m seeing while there you can find my Instagram page here. I share more of my personal life on Instagram so images aren’t always pretty. Fair warning! 🙂

this is a brilliant shot!

I love buildings like this. I wouldn’t want to have anything valuable stored in them, but I like looking at them. Enjoy your weekend Deborah.

Thank you Dan! I had a great week in NYC. Is your favorite pub the Molly Wee? If so I saw it, and took a quick snap of it as an ode to you. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to stop for a drink or we would have.

Yes, The Molly Wee is my favorite watering hole in the city. I never miss a chance to stop there.

As soon as I saw the sign Molly Wee I thought it was the pub you wrote about, but wasn’t sure. We were walking from the Highline to the Empire State Bldg at the time. We didn’t stop for a drink.

I love old barns! There are a lot of old tobacco barns around here that I am hoping to capture. Have fun in the city with your sisters!!

Thank you so much! We had a lot of fun, and saw so many wonderful iconic sights. We didn’t see as much as we hoped to fit in, so hope we can go back one day.

Thank you so much Myriam! That old, tired door/barn did have character.
Thanks for the well wishes for our trip. We had a great time. We’re looking forward to the next one. We’re thinking about a cruise; river or sea in Europe. Fingers crossed that we can save up enough to do it!
