Last Saturday He-Man and I went to visit Baby Girl and the boys since it had been 3 weeks or so since we’d seen them and we missed the boys a lot!
#1 Grandson got out his mom’s guitar and was strumming and humming when suddenly he stopped playing and said, ” Grandma, for $5 dollars I’ll play you any song you want.”
I don’t know how it happened, but we all got songs for free!
Mine was short and sweet. It went like this, ” Grandma I love you the most, and you’re still number 1.” It made my heart sing!

Love this photo!! Sounds like he is sweet like his grandma! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much, Jill! He is a sweetie.
Grandkids are the best! I FaceTime mine a lot.
What a sweet Grandson. Thanks for sharing that joy. 🙂
Aw, thank you, Robert! 😀 It’s good to see you. Finished your project and you’re happy with it I hope.
I love the ‘I hope’ because it’s so fitting. I’m happy with it as a step in the right direction. 🙂
😀
What an adorable entrepreneur! How cute was that? 🙂
He was so cute! Thank you, Joey!
So much sweetness!! And what a wonderful song! That was so kind of him to end up playing for free. 😉
A song for each of us. He’s pretty great. Thanks for the lovely visit and comment Amy!
How wonderful and what a cutie! I sub at the elementary school and often come home with a cute story or two. Yesterday however, I received 3 apology letters from 2nd graders for their bad behavior!
Oh dear! I hope they learned a good lesson and won’t do that behavior again and next week is a whole lot better for you all.
Too cute! Loved the grandma song. 🧡
Me too, Camie! Thank you!
Grandkids are the best, Deborah, we should have had them first! 😉
Amen to that! 😉
Sweet post, Deborah!
Thanks so much, Belinda!
How precious!
Thanks, Pam!
A handsome grandson who still wants to tell you he loves you is a gift from above that is for sure. Music or no music, your heart still sings. 🙂
I’m eating it up while it lasts! He’ll be too “big” for such talk before I know it. 😭
And on top of that, the guitar is a vintage Deborah Zajac! 🙂
Oh, I don’t know if it’s vintage. It’s only 15-16 years old and I bought it for Baby Girl off the rack at the music store. I didn’t think she’d really stick to it so didn’t spend too much on it or buy her a big brand name one.
She played the flute for 7 years then wanted to try something else so, I let her. 😁 She didn’t stick with it. Until #1 started plucking and strumming it it sat in its case not touched for years and years. Maybe he’ll learn to play it and stick with it?
Oh my goodness, that’s so sweet! He might never make it to the big stage, but he has a number one fan for life.
That he does! Thanks so much, Dan.
Awesome! 😊💕
Thank you so much Myriam! 😍
I love this!!! ❤️
🙂 I’m so glad you enjoyed it, Jennie!
😀
What a great deal. Such a fun thing to hear about yourself.
It was very heartwarming to hear it. I know before too long he’ll be too old for such mushy sentiments spoken out loud let alone sung. 😁
Awww!! What Grandma doesn’t want to hear a special song like that!! 💕
I don’t think there is one. 😁 He’s a character our #1 and very entertaining.
I love this, Deborah! “Kids say the darndest things!” Sounds like a good deal for everyone. Love his smile:)
It was very cute, and sometimes funny. Priceless! Thank you so much, Erica! I love that face and smile so much!
