Embarcadero Center’s Christmas Lights

I met some photographers last night in the City (San Francisco) to photograph the Christmas Lights in Embarcadero Center. The Star of the show is the white light on the TransAmerica Pyramid Building and it’s blue reflection for me.

Traffic was absolutely horrible getting into the city yesterday. What should have taken just under an hour took 2 hours! It was worth the drive though. It wasn’t too cold, and the lights are gorgeous.

On another note. I have not been successful with Adobe reactivating or fixing my CS6 photo editing software so, I bit the bullet today and subscribed to the CC Photography package. I have Bridge CC, Lightroom 2015  CC, and Photoshop CC 2015 all installed, and working. Now I’m trying to figure out how to get my plug-ins, presets, and actions installed into PSCC, and LRCC.  I’ve got two actions installed. There’s hope I’ll figure it all out! 🙂

So, WP has changed the layout and look of posting, and adding images is different. I’m  kind of struggling through the new changes. Was there a memo about the changes? I missed it if so.

For this week’s MM2; and I’m really late posting mine this week! Is another image from my hike up Slacker’s Ridge Trail. This image I made during the Golden hour before the mad rush of people headed out of the headlands, and into the city for dinner, shows, and general Saturday night Merry Making. 🙂

Okay. Inserting my image went well this time. I didn’t have to delete it and try again! YEAH! “)

Moonset Over San Francisco, California

I rose pretty early this morning to make the hour drive to this location to meet my friend Andy aka Stargazer to shoot the Moonset.
He checked and double checked the webcams in the area hoping for no fog. We did have a fog bank sitting right where we hoped to shoot the setting Moon, but we got lucky; it peeked out enough to make a pretty picture, and the color! It really was this color! It was gorgeous. Worth getting up at 3AM for.
We have rain in the forecast tomorrow, but if we get a break and no fog in the morning we may try it again.

Andy has his photo up from this morning please check it out. It’s awesome!
