The Agapatha’s are blooming in my yard, and as you can imagine I’ve been out imaging them with my LensBaby Composer Pro and my Macro lens while the blooms last.

For this week’s Monochrome Madness 2 I present a single blossom on the flower on the verge of blooming. It reminds me of praying hands.

For week 4 of Leanne Cole’s Monochrome Madness I’m sharing a Geranium from my yard. Flowers are popping up all over in California. Whenever I’ve had the chance I’ve got out my macro lens and making flower images.

This little blossom drew me in with its furls, and curls, and it’s filaments open and turned up to the sun as if drinking it in.
