After spending a delightful morning and afternoon at the Dickens Fair my friend Alex and I headed up to the city to photograph the skyline all lit up for Christmas. It’s a bit hard to tell here, but the Trans America (Pyramid Bldg) has a red light on top for Christmas. Also, in this photo are the towers of Embarcardero Center, the Ferry Building, and way over to the right is Nob Hill. I was freezing! It dipped to the mid-30’s while we were photographing here.

The Traveler went to the Dicken’s Fair in Daly City, CA on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013. While there he spied this Sea Man’s pub. Custom was slow, but no matter; the Gin was being poured…or should I say Sipped liberally by the proprietress.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

This is one of 10 glass ornaments that I bought when I was 19 years old. It was my first Christmas in my own apartment with the first Christmas Tree I could call my own. I’ve broken 3 ornaments from the set over the years, and they’re so fragile now that I don’t hang them on the tree anymore.
