Dreamy! 🙂 I wish I could stay up late enough to see scenes like this. But in addition I’d have to travel because our light pollution hides most of the starry sky. Only the brightest can be seen. This is very nice, Deborah!

Nicely captured MW! My plans of shooting the MW over lavender fields didn’t happen on my road trip; partly trying to find a field without trespassing or paying a $100 fee for photographers (while I’m an amateur I don’t think I want to pay $100 for a shot) and partly due to overcast skies. I’ll have to try again in the future.
Where did you get the lake foreground, if you don’t mind my asking?

I’m with you as an amateur photographer I have a hard time paying for a lot of stuff like that.
I’m glad you like the shot! It was a lovely evening. There are quite a few lakes near me as you know. I just was waiting for a clear night. We’ve had a lot of overcast clouds lately. I’m hoping to get out under a clear sky a couple times this month as well.
Were you able to get a good shot of the Moon last night or the night before? Both nights I had clouds.

It’s been foggy overcast on the coast so I didn’t attempt any Astro shots since I returned last week. I hope to find a shot some, someday or some night.😉
