    1. There’s still snow up in the mountains so it will be another month or two before wildflowers bloom up there as well. I’m looking forward to the hike up there to see them.

      Thank you so much, Denise!

  1. You did a great job of embracing the springtime essence of Northern California’s two most iconic wildflowers, Deborah. Fantastic photo.

    1. I know how you’re feeling. I want to get up to the mountains to see the wildflowers but it would futile and a snow shoeing outing still. No wildflowers for a couple of months yet up there. 😀

  2. Beautiful contrast Deborah, with such delicate form, makes one imagine the field with its soft gentle grasses and flowers swaying in the breeze. Thanks for sharing it.

  3. The pure simplicity is beautiful in this photo, Deborah. I think it is a field of lupines in my cover photo on my blog. Thank you for sharing. ❤️

      1. Thank you, Deborah. Taken in Iceland, where it was easy to get 1000’s of amazing photos. I won a photo contest with this photo. You are always my inspiration! ❤️

        1. Have you had it printed for yourself to hang in the spring and or summer in your home? If not I think you should print it. It’s special. No smaller than 11×14 inches.

I’m expecting two prints today from recent shoots. I’m on pins and needles hoping they come out well. One is a commission- a friend ordered a print of the Poppies, and the other a sunrise is just for me.

            1. I do, but I don’t think they ship outside of the U.S. You can try Bay Photos, and MPIX to see if they ship to your address. If not I’m sure you’ve got some great printers up there too!

            2. In the past we have used London Drugs prints. It may be a Canadian Company. A great idea to refresh some of our walls. 🙂

    1. Yes, just one type of Lupine. Really, it’s not there? I’ll have to look up their range. I thought it was one that would be all over the U.S.
I bet that means you have a wildflower we don’t have. Hopefully, I’ll see it or them through your viewfinder one day. 😀🌺
