Great capture, Deborah! A couple of weekends ago, I was down at the lake watching a hawk circle and swoop down hunting fish. They are quite magnificent birds!
Thank you, Dan! If it were to perch in that tree when it’s full of leaves there’s a perfect place that doesn’t grow leaves anymore. Of course when it filled out I never saw the Hawk there. It’s eyes match the new buds. 😀
I like this one Deborah, the blue sky really pops and the details are excellent.
Thanks, John! I’m glad you like this image too.

Thank you so much, Amy! Was it an Osprey you saw? They are magnificent birds! I love the hawks and Eagles.
I looked that up and think it may have been!
They and Eagle love to fish. 😀
I see the hawk. I don’t see Cooper.
😂😀
Excellent capture, Deborah!
Thank you so much, Donna!
What a photo! You even captured the eyes.
I like your feathered friend and the beautiful tree he chose to pose in. 🙂
Thank you! That’s a cottonwood tree I think. I’m still learning what’s what here.😄
Love it, Deborah.
Thank you, John!
Very nice indeed! Sometimes if a bird doesn’t move or you don’t see them fly to wherever they perch, they’d be invisible.

Wonderful photo. Kind of scary how well he blends into the nature around him.
Thank you so much, Ally! To be the prey it’s looking for wouldn’t be fun would it?
Beautiful bird.
They are aren’t they? Thank you so much for the comment, Cheryl!
You take such beautiful photos.
Oh, you’re too kind Cheryl! ❤️😄
🤗
That’s a great photo. It’s amazing how he blends in nicely, even in a bare tree. I’d hate to have to find him in more dense leaves.
