I’ve been neglecting my flower images for oh, so, long! Here are three from cultivated gardens, and my back yard.
Columbine- Blake Garden

On approach-UC Davis Arboretum

Daisy of some sort- My backyard

I’ve been feeling a day off so far this week. I hope that gets straightened out today.
If you follow me on Instagram you know I’m painting rocks and leaving them on trails, and in some places I’ve passed by for a Summer Project. I don’t leave them in State or National Parks because I think that’s a rule. Anyway, here are a couple of iPhone images showing some of the rocks I’ve painted to be left somewhere in the near future. I’ve left quite a few in the wild already. I hope those found new homes.

I hope you’re having a good week, and I wish for you a wonderful week-end!

Ohh, I love your stones. It’s been ages since I visited your blog, it seems! 😮 Well, I catch up sooner or later, and I’m glad I do because there’s always beauty.

I love the bluish center of that daisy! I’m not sure I’ve every seen a center like that. The rock painting looks like so much fun.

Thank you so much Amy. The center is my favorite bit of that flower. I’m enjoying acrylic paint, and painting rocks. Who knew? 😊🖌🎨

I do love the Columbine with its creamy background and that daisy! I would so like to happen upon your beautiful cat😊

Blue Herons are almost everywhere here…year round. Come visit CA!
Isn’t that cat rock neat. I got that from a tutorial from annamoon.de She’s a fantastic artist.
I like that one so much and the palm tree that I’m painting those designs the most. I’m also trying to get better at the mandalas- the dot art ones.
I wish you were closer so you could find one the cat rocks!

Hope you feel better before the weekend so you don’t miss any photography adventures. 🙂 Love all three of your flower photos, but that daisy is down right gorgeous. And, if I ran across any of your rocks I know they’d find a new home. 🙂

Beautiful flower portrait with great DOF/backgrounds! (Funny … I was thinking of painting a few rocks just yesterday … a big ladybug!)

Do it!!! I’m having so much fun, and I have found I do like acrylic paint! I I ordered a small set of better brushes at least better than the very cheap student grade set I bought initially. I hope they make a difference. I am thinking about getting a small canvas to paint on too.
When your ladybug is finished I’d love to see it!

Nice macro shots! So your pet rocks are being released? Should have micro-chipped them to track there travels 😉

I love the picture of that daisy, Deborah. The angle is perfect. The rocks are pretty cool. Maddie and I found a painted rock on one of our recent walks. I don’t know what the protocol is, I left it there, but I enjoyed seeing it.

Painted rocks are fun to find. I’ve only found a few myself. The last one was just last month, with that find, and Joanne’s find I was inspired to start painting some myself for the summer.
