I love dandelions!! That background and effect really sets it off.

I enjoy dandelions and other wild or weed flowers. I used to dead head them rather than spray them, so they wouldn’t hurt my dog’s paws. Beautiful effects on this dandelion, Deborah!

Thank you so much Robin! I deadhead them too, and dig them out, but they always seem to come back. They’re tough little plants!

They are tough and wish resilience were a characteristic of orchids and not dandelions. 😀

Nice work; that’s some really shallow dof but its funny that the background deck seems somewhat sharp (like you can almost read something scratched on it – maybe its just scratching).

That writing is on one of the Textures I used. I can’t remember what it says, but it’s probably Latin or French.

It looks like you’re having fun (and some good success” with these apps. We love dandelions. I know, weeds, but still, we like seeing them.

Thanks Dan!
This image I didn’t use any apps on it just Textures from a Creative Commons Textures Flickr group.
I like them too in fields, but not the lawn. 🙂 Do the bunnies in your yard eat the Dandelions?
They’re really neat up close. The little stamens are curly, and then there’s these fuzzy bits I’ve always loved.

The bunnies do eat the leaves. They seem to prefer the plantain, (another “weed”) but they eat these too. The texture is very nice, I guess I don’t know how those work.

Love the background – looks like a blazing sun. 🙂

That’s my deck. He-Man restained it and chose a really awful redwood color, but it looks neat as the background blur in this image.
That Dandelion was growing in my back lawn. 😦 I’m pulling them out and dead-heading them all the time. They’re prolific here!
