I was photographing a male peacock who was trying oh, so, hard to get just one of many females to pay attention to him. He was strutting around shaking his booty, and displaying his feathers, and they couldn’t care less. I wanted a bit better vantage point to shoot from so walked up the hill a yard or so, and stopped at the fence. I took one step left and this fella caught my eye! I said, Oh, Hello didn’t see you there!” laughing out loud of course! Then raised my camera and took a photo of it. 🙂
This farm had so many neat little quirky bits and bobs to see and photograph.
LOL! Great story! Maybe the funny face spooked the peahens? 🙂
