      Mockingbirds tend to look the same so size and behavior are usually the things used to distinguish between the sexes.
      Males sing more, and are bigger than the females. Since this one was singing a lot and hanging out in one territory in early Spring I’m going to guess Male singing his heart out to attract a mate, and protecting its territory.
      But it’s just a guess.
