Oh Melissa, this morning I went back and she had two chicks!!! Their eyes are open now, and the Mother feed them several times while I was there. IT WAS AMAZING!!!
I’m uploading the images as I type this. OH I HOPE JUST ONE COMES OUT GOOD! 🙂

The fact she got out of her nest to have some sustenance, by sipping from a flower, made me smile! This made me think of human routines, leading me to give this nesting Anna’s hummingbird a personality. 🙂 She’s a sweetheart of a catch, Deborah.
