After a day of birding my friends and I closed the day watching the sun dip behind the mountains from the far side of a pond. It was lovely.

I must say I searched the comments and am relieved the word which came to my mind instantly was, luminous. The way the water has soft ripples, the tones in the colors are all lovely! While my overall feeling is how luminous this photograph is, Deborah!

Oh wow! I’m guessing this raised the spirits of the group after the dispondency following the realisation the last of the walnut butterball cookies had been eaten. 🙂

🙂 Actually I broke out the Walnut Butterball cookies when we were shooting or wrapping up shooting this sunset!
I ended up with some left as we were saving our appetites dinner.
There’s only a few left now and those are He-Man’s. I may have to make up another batch.
