I didn’t manage to get a door photograph that I really liked this past week, so I dug deep into my archives…all the way back to 2010 for this image.
Nº 40- I’ve had a thing for red doors a long time. 🙂 I could sit here with my morning or afternoon tea watching the world pass by.

Red doors are my fave. To the Chinese red is lucky so many of their doors will be red!

This is a lovely door, but it also has the entire package including beautiful windows and porch, comfy chairs, and hanging plant. Handsome choice. 🙂

Ever notice how symmetrical everything is in this photo? Pretty good comp for handholding (I assume you did not set up a tripod here). Nice door too!

Thank you Gordon! I think I took one, but recall setting it up much while on the photowalk. Much like our recent SF photo-walk.

I, too, admit for a penchant for red doors. I’d be happy to sit on this porch…once it warms up a bit. Had some snow flurries here this afternoon, although no accumulation. It’s cold, though. Spring is a fickle hussy.

What a lovely porch. Red door, cushions and flowers in the hanging basket. Very harmonious.

A wonderful choice. I could sit a spell maybe with a glass of wine and enjoy a nice sunset on that porch 🙂

I love red doors. I like that the cushions on the chairs are also red. I could definitely see myself sitting there with a cup of something and enjoying the morning.

I also like the hanging plant with its red flowers too. It just ties it altogether for me. I’d pick up that paper, open it with a snap! and get comfy perusing it, sipping my tea and being the nippy nose I am checking out the goings on around the street. 🙂

Love this shot, they have great taste in adding the red chair cushions! I love red doors too, might because red is my favorite color. We’ve painted all our doors in past residences red, but here in our condo community, we are only allowed to have white doors. 😦

Thank you so much Donna! I think so too. I painted my upper kitchen cabinets cranberry red, and the bottoms are white to temper the red. That’s how I’m getting my red fix. 🙂
