“I have left my bed and walked upon the grass and the night dew has wet my feet and the hem of my garment. Here I stand under the blossoms of the almond tree, heeding the call of your spirit. ”
~Kahlil Gibran, Communion of Spirits, The Treasured Writings of Kahlil Gibran
Went I laid in the grass to photograph the dew and rain drops in the grass yesterday morning I thought of these lines from Kahlil Gibran’s prose Communion of Spirits.
I hope you all have a sunny Friday and week-end both in your spirits and weather!

“Let your life lightly dance on the edges of Time like dew on the tip of a leaf.” Rabindranath Tagore
Oh Robert, this quote is beautiful! Thank you for sharing that. I’m going to copy it and add it to my quote journal.
Beauty in its perfect simplicity…. nice shot… cheers. Aquileana

Lovely picture and subtle beauty! Words are so gorgeous!
Thank you so much Lynn!
Love this it looks so close up and fresh! How did you capture that drop? wow
Thank you! I laid down a tarp then laid on it using my arms and elbows as a tripod-more or less. 🙂 I was using my macro lens in manual exposure, and focusing modes. I had pretty good light so I left my ISO at its native 100, but I was cutting it fine with a shutter speed of 1/125s shooting something that close up.
Wow ok dear some day when you come here, you can teach me one of those amazing things? really outstanding! xx
I would love to! 🙂 Thank you!
