I photographed several of my Santa Ornaments for week 36  December Santa or Elves Challenge for MM2 hosted by Leanne Cole. I didn’t share them all in the post for that challenge so I thought I’d post another image for my Project 52 this week.

P52 50 of 52 Letters to SantaI have quite a few Santa ornaments for my Christmas Tree. I just love Santa and the season! I hope you all are enjoying the Season too!

The few Chrysanthemums I have in my yard are in bloom! The yellow ones looked so lovely in the late afternoon light that I grabbed my macro lens, and camera before the light faded.

The plants are super old, so the blossoms are much smaller than in past years. I think I need to add new plants or rip these out and start anew? Anyone know which would be best?

Speaking of plants.  We’re having the front landscaping done finally! It should be done by Tuesday. I’ll post images when done. I’m so excited!

P52 45/52 Rain drops

We had a real good rain this past week here in Silicon Valley so, I grabbed my camera and took several images of the rain hitting the patio. I managed to catch a few drop images in the process.

I hope this is beginning of wet winter. Or at least a drought busting one.

It’s raining again today!

P52 44/52 Chicken Noodle Soup

Project 52 44 of 52 Chicken Noodle Soup

It’s getting chilly here in the morning and evenings which makes me crave comfort foods. One of my favorite comfort foods is Soup! I had some left over chicken in the fridge so while #1 Grandson napped I deboned the chicken, and chopped up all my veggies then made my soup.

Earlier I took #1 Grandson for a run around the block looking for Spooky stuff and he ran 3/4 of the block before slowing down to a walk. When we got home he asked for cold juice then cuddled up next to me and promptly fell asleep. He napped long enough for me to get the soup done! 🙂

My soup is semi-homemade. The chicken was a store bought rotisserie chicken, and I bought Organic Chicken Stock to speed up the prep time, and cooking time. From there it’s a pretty basic Chicken Noodle Soup.
