Early last week I met a girlfriend up in Reno’s Rose Garden to see all the lovely Roses that were in bloom.

  1. How splendid, Deborah — the flowers and the compositions too. As a child I was fascinated by roses that have the different colored edges on the petals. They continue to be a favorite. A single rosebush is fragrant. I can imagine the heady perfume of an entire garden. Hugs.

      1. By the way, I just looked up boss in the American Heritage Dictionary and found that English got it from “Dutch baas, master (from earlier, uncle); akin to Old High German basa, aunt.”
