  1. I always judge a landscape by just how much it makes me wants to be there and I would just love to be there by the water, listening to the sounds of the area. Nice image 😀.

    1. I’ve had been getting up at 3am for the whole week to photograph The Great Conjunction. Sadly Mercury is being blinded by the rising sun. On the 22nd after shooting the conjunction and not seeing Mercury …again due to the bright horizon of the rising sun and spying the clouds I thought I might have a lovely sunrise with some color by the west fork of the river so headed there and was rewarded with a lovely sunrise. I think God favored me with a reward/ bonus for getting up all week and not seeing Mercury. 😄 I’ve been sleeping in until after 4 this week.
And today I didn’t rise until nearly 6!

      1. Wow. I have been getting up at 5:30 the last three mornings, but you are to be congratulated for 3 am for the whole week. It really shows the dedication that you have for attempting to get an image. I salute you.

  2. I just love this serenity and the mood of a sunrise is different from that of a sunset – one is usually the start and the other winding down
    ☀️😊

    1. It was fairly quiet. The birds were singing their morning songs, swallows were swooping around me and chattering to each other and maybe me too, and there was the occasional passing car.
Thank you so much, Gordon! 😀

    1. Indeed. I see this beauty and Anne Frank’s “Think of all the beauty still left around you and be happy.” comes to mind. Thank you for this moment of happiness.
