What a glow
It was a pretty morning. Thank you, Yvette! 😄
☀️☀️☀️
I always judge a landscape by just how much it makes me wants to be there and I would just love to be there by the water, listening to the sounds of the area. Nice image 😀.
Thank you so much, John!
Stunning, and one of your best. The reflection in the river is just perfect. Wow!
I looked up Job’s Peak on a map and found it’s close to Lake Tahoe, which my wife Eve is eager to visit.
This is a gorgeous photo of the Carson River, Deborah — so crisp, with great morning light and an outstanding view.
Looks like someone got up early.
I’ve had been getting up at 3am for the whole week to photograph The Great Conjunction. Sadly Mercury is being blinded by the rising sun. On the 22nd after shooting the conjunction and not seeing Mercury …again due to the bright horizon of the rising sun and spying the clouds I thought I might have a lovely sunrise with some color by the west fork of the river so headed there and was rewarded with a lovely sunrise. I think God favored me with a reward/ bonus for getting up all week and not seeing Mercury. 😄 I’ve been sleeping in until after 4 this week.
And today I didn’t rise until nearly 6!
Wow. I have been getting up at 5:30 the last three mornings, but you are to be congratulated for 3 am for the whole week. It really shows the dedication that you have for attempting to get an image. I salute you.
I just love this serenity and the mood of a sunrise is different from that of a sunset – one is usually the start and the other winding down
☀️😊
Great way of thinking about and seeing them! 💗
😊☀️
Mornings are often wonderful, aren’t they, Deborah? Funny that we each featured one today. Lovely reflections in this shot.
They are indeed! And to think I wasn’t a morning person until my 40’s! 😀
You were a late bloomer. 🙂
I was! 😂
Beautiful sky and reflection.
It was lovely. Thank you so much, Janis! I’m glad you like my image of it.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful sunrise photo, Deborah. I’m not a early riser so I appreciate seeing this. 🌄
Thank you so much, Miriam! I wasn’t always an early riser. I was sleeping til noon way into my 30’s! In my 40’s I became an early riser. Crazy right. 😀
I know, Deborah! I heard of people waking up earlier and earlier when they get older! I don’t know why. 🙂
Stunning, Deborah, it looks so much like a masterpiece painting! The glow is spectacular!
Nice, the image “sounds” quiet😉
It was fairly quiet. The birds were singing their morning songs, swallows were swooping around me and chattering to each other and maybe me too, and there was the occasional passing car.
Thank you so much, Gordon! 😀
Beautiful Deborah! I love the light and the colours. The sky of course and also the muted green in the foreground, like old velvet.
Thank you so much, Peter. I love that description of the foreground bushes! 😀
Lovely photo, Deborah. What a beautiful scene you’ve captured!
Thank you so much, Belinda! 😀
What a great shot, Deborah. Thanks for sharing it.
Thank you so much, John!
😊
This is so beautiful, Deborah. I live the soft clouds reflected in the river.
Thank you so much, Dan! I noticed that the bushes are really growing and making the river narrower there even in the short time I’ve lived here! 😮
Indeed. I see this beauty and Anne Frank’s “Think of all the beauty still left around you and be happy.” comes to mind. Thank you for this moment of happiness.
Oh, that’s lovely!! 💗 Thank you!!
