Gorgeous!! Are you planning to shoot this supermoon?
Thank you so much, Amy! It’s windy, cold, and there are dense clouds low on the mountains to the east so I’m not sure if I’ll see it or not. I’ll probably not go anywhere but my back patio to shoot it if I can see it.
How about you any plans to photograph it?
Unfortunately, I don’t have plans to photograph it. I don’t have a good view from home and didn’t plan to seek out any good viewing spots.
I can relate! I just stepped out back and photographed it. I had to bracket next I have to composite it. I don’t blend images together too often so I’m procrastinating. 🤣
Brilliant shots! 😊
Our moon is a beautiful and powerful orb. Our planet and the Moon have a precise balancing act going. Hi. I enjoyed your photos.
Thank you so much for this thoughtful comment and for visiting my blog! 😄
Okay.
So beautiful!
Thank you! 💕
You’re welcome! 💕
I have heard the phrase “worm moon” this week, yet I did not investigate further, Deborah. Difficult to capture photos of the moon. Your two photos are amazing! 🙂
Thank you so much, Erica!! The worm moon is the First Full Moon in March and it coincides with the sightings of Earthworms wriggling out of the soil for Spring. 😀
Thank you for this! I still had not googled information and I love this image. Have a wonderful Easter weekend, Deborah 🙂
Happy Easter to you and yours as well, Erica! I’m excited to see the boys, and it’s Littlest 1st Easter Egg hunt! 😀
I love both of these compositions, Deborah. Well done! 🤗 🤗
Thank you so much, Donna! 😄🙏🏻
Wonderful images, Deborah!
Thank you so much, Belinda! 😄
In the top picture I seem to see the lower half of the moon continuing down over the mountain.
Sun glare/flare I think.
Sure enough, and yet it suggested a full moon.
It does! I didn’t see it that way before you said it! I almost didn’t share this image because the moon is a white blob and the flare.
Wow, what a fantastic pair of moon pics. No wonder my cell-phone shots of it look like white blobs — you have better equipment, sure, but clearly a better eye and sense of framing. Well done!
Thank you so much, Paul! Mine is a white blob too in the top image.
I haven’t had any success with my cell phone and the Moon, but the cameras in cell phones are getting so much better it won’t be long before they are doing a good job with that type of photography too!
True! When cell-phone snaps come up in my Facebook memories, it’s remarkable how grainy the ones from 10 years ago look. Definitely gotten better since then!
Beautiful the way you caught the light of the moon in the mountain Deborah, it is very artistic, quite an amazing photo.
Thank you so much, Ashley!
Beautiful skies with that moon! Wonder if Spring is different for you now, than in California? Jesh
Yes, it is. It’s getting green here and stays green all summer, and soon it will be brown and gold in the Bay Area hills and fields. I imagine it’s quite different for you in TX now too?
Thank you so much, Jesh!
The biggest change in Texas is the sky. Since winter it is on most days cloudy.. A wind is blowing 90% of the time.Am jazzed that the grass is getting green (because with a cloudy sky and everything brownish, it feels still winter). The temps are going up and down much more than California (which is a surprise.
Great shots, Deborah. The moon is not the easiest thing to capture.
Thank you so much, John!
😊
Ten pennies for these! Gorgeous shots.
Thank you so much, Judy! 💕😀
Love how you captured the moon peaking out over the mountains. It always looks so much larger when it first rises. Both photos are lovely! ❤️
Thank you so much, Jill! When the Moon is near the horizon it looks HUGE. 😀💕
Hi, Deborah! My blogging activity was very low this past year, but now it’s picking up. I’ll be more regularly here now. I hope you’re well!
Hi! It’s great to hear from you!! I am well, thank you. I hope you and yours are as well. I’m looking forward to seeing your posts.
Any plans for your birthday?
Ha! Really not. The situation is changing all the time and it’s impossible to plan a thing. Big 50 was last year anyway, and I still haven’t celebrated that one!
I don’t have any plans either. It’s not a BIG birthday milestone for me this year anyway. 😀💕
Every moment is worth celebrating. ❤ All well to you!
It is! 💕
Glorious shots, Deborah, especially that first one. Kudos.

Thank you so much, Janet! 😀
Wow! So beautiful. Thank you, Deborah!
Deb
Thank you, Deb! I’m glad you like the images.
The full moon this month was extraordinary, and how incredible it is that you captured it, Deborah. Both photos are exquisite.
It was so pretty. Thank you so much, Jet! I hope you’re having a great week so far!
Those are two wonderful photos, Deborah. That first image, is simply stunning.
Thank you so much, Dan! I wasn’t sure about sharing that first image, but thought it came out okay so, I would. I’m glad you like it. 😀
Oh glorious moon. I love the one peeping over the mountains. Lovely work, Deborah. Hugs on the wing!
Thank you so much, Teagan! I’m glad you like the Moon rising image. Hugs on the wing to you as well! xx
Bella luna shine on me!
