What species of deer do you have there?
Mule Deer.
Mule deer make it to west Texas but not the center of the state. The whitetails reign here.
So beautiful, Deborah! We just had our first dusting of snow this morning. It was melted before lunchtime.
The now melted down here pretty quickly too, but there’s still a lot in the mountains which is pretty to see.
Thank you so much, Amy!
Looks like it could be here! Nice shot! Yesterday I saw a buck following a doe around who had young fawns. I assumed he figured she was good breeding material. 😀
No doubt! I think it’s getting to be that time of year. 😀 Thank you so much, Denise!
Really beautiful, Deborah! There’s the deer and so much more here.
Thank you so much, Jennie!
You are welcome, Deborah!
I so enjoyed this gentle and peaceful winter scene, Deborah.
Thank you so much, Jet!
Great photo! Am looking forward for more. 🙂
Thanks, Pit! I hope I see more Deer this winter.
Beautiful photo.
Thank you, Judy! I thought they were too. 😀
Wonderful photo, Deborah!
Thank you so much, Belinda!
Here’s my caption. “Hey, ladies there’s that human with the whirring machine. You think she would like to join us for tea?”
I would, I would! 😀 Thank you, John!
😁
Lovely capture!
Thank you, Brian!
Gasp! Breathtaking, Deborah. I love that you caught them with most of the group looking ahead, and the one deer looking back at the camera. Hugs on the wing!
Thank you so much, Teagan! I’m glad you like it. Hugs right back to you! xx
If you could see me smiling…

Probably like I smiled when I saw them. Ear to ear! Thank you, Janet! 😀
You got it.
😀
That is a beautiful photo, Deborah. It has the artistic quality of a fine painting.
Thank you so much, Dan! I’m thinking about printing this one to use for the winter. I’m currently using my header image over the mantle, but I’ve used it for years and years. This one might make me switch it up. 😀
