It is. Thank you so much, Denise!
Gorgeous creature!
Thank you, Joey!
Fabulous capture, Deborah!
Oh how I’d love to see a barn owl one day. This is a gorgeous photo of one! Do you see them often? My in-laws told me they used to have them and then were surprised to see them disappear when they started putting out rat poison. Of course, the rats are still there. O, humans.
Thank you so much, Melissa! No, I have only seen a barn owl 3 times. The first two times I didn’t get a photo at all. This was such a exciting sighting and image capture for me!
Rightly so. It is lovely.
Wow! Such a great shot, Deborah! ❤️ Owls always fascinate me.
Thank you so much, Jill! It was an exciting sighting for me!

He looks like he’s deep in thought or very, very tired. Great capture, Deborah!
Thank you so much, Amy. I’m sure it was happy when I stopped photographing it.
How beautiful! I’ve saved the photo, might inspire a drawing? 💕🌹
It’s so beautiful. I’m glad you think so too, Marina! If you draw it I’m sure it will be just as beautiful.

Wonderful photo. Who needs words when an image says it all!
Thank you so much, Ally!
Caption – you woke me up for this? 🙂
Your success rate and finding and photographing owls continues to impress me.
LOL! I love your caption, Joanne!
Oh, thank you so much, Joanne! They like the country and that’s where I go birding and once in awhile I get super lucky and spot them.
Very nice photo! I love owls.
Thank you so much, Camie! Me too.
An owl almost ready to go to sleep or pretending to go to sleep. After all, they are wise. A great photo, Deborah!
LOL! They are! Thank you so much, Ericka!
LOL! Did you see that? Now I have your name spelling in my head, and the way I spelled it all this time my fingers spelled it with both the c and k! My brain is a muddle. 😀
Too funny, Deborah. You can call me anything you like 🙂
☺
Terrific photo. He does look like a wise one😊
He does doesn’t he and maybe sleepy. 😀 Thank you so much, Belinda.
Lovely owl and shot Deborah! 🙂
Thank you so much, Lili!
Beautiful barn owl! I got a shot of a horned owl in flight at Merced NWR from Saturday but the lighting was very dark. Will see what I can pp.
Thank you so much, Gordon! My first one that isn’t a butt shot! I hope you’re able to save the image of your owl in PP.
I wish I could have joined you, but I was taking care of #1 Grandson, and got a bug so was out for the count for several days.
Now, that is one handsome guy there. Great shot. 🙂
He is isn’t he. Thank you so much, Judy!
Sweeet! Do love a Barn Owl.
Thank you so much, Brian. Me too!

Thank you, Daniel! He is! I was thrilled to see it and photograph its face. My first shot was of it in flight and that was a butt shot. 😀
