Oh how I’d love to see a barn owl one day. This is a gorgeous photo of one! Do you see them often? My in-laws told me they used to have them and then were surprised to see them disappear when they started putting out rat poison. Of course, the rats are still there. O, humans.

Beautiful barn owl! I got a shot of a horned owl in flight at Merced NWR from Saturday but the lighting was very dark. Will see what I can pp.
