While photographing Wild Mustangs one morning in August this little guy popped out of the grass almost beside me to grab an unsuspecting Butterfly for breakfast.

That’s great timing Deborah! I’m a little sad for the butterfly, but that is the circle of life.
Thank you so much Amy. The circle of life is right!
I’m conflicted – beautiful bird but ‘no’ to eating butterflies. 🙂
I know how you feel Judy. I wish the birds and reptiles didn’t find them so tasty either.
Since I moved further out of the city I see tons of robins at the front. Beautiful capture Deb.
Thank you so much Hanna! Oh, how wonderful to see Robins, and other of Natures wonders right where you are!
Nice timing for you both. Excellent photo!
Thank you so much Belinda!
Hah! You caught it catching the catch and they’re of the same coloring. Tell me you, too, wore yellow and black? 🙂
I wish I could tell you I wore yellow, and black…alas I did not. I wore olive green to blend in.
Haha, well, that makes sense! 🙂
What a capture. Both of you!! 😉
Thank you so much Jodi!
Beautiful, Deborah.
Wow that is a great photo!
Well done: great capture!
Good catch! I would have been just standing there watching and then only later realize I had had a camera in my hand 😏
Wow, great catch, Deborah! And breakfast for the bird. Hugs.
Great capture. Seems you were pretty quick with the camera.
