Wild Wednesday 36/52 After Dark II

I thought I’d show you the front view of the old cabin since I only shared the side view and lightning last week.

I made this after the sun had gone down, but there was still some light in the East.

You can sorta see the fireplace I told you about here, and you can see where the other ladies place lights in some cracks, the doorway and window sills.  It came out really well I think…the light painting.

The Old Ranch Cabin Front View

I hope you had a lovely week-end. We in the USA had a long week-end celebrating Labor Day.  I spent the week-end with friends photographing the night sky, and the Wild Mustangs again.

I am once again behind with blogs, and emails, but I’ll catch up!

I hope you all have a lovely week.

  1. Last week I was at a 4 day conference, so much computer time- so I’m with you – very behind in replies 🙂 love the light in your capture, giving it a mysterious glow!

    1. That’s how I feel too Judy! All I know is what I was told by the Pack Team wrangler and cook- it’s about 150 years old, and once a rancher lived and worked his ranch there. There’s a lovely rock corral down the hill from the cabin. The pack team used it to hold our horses the night we camped down there. It’s actually a lovely spot with a real natural spring just feet away from the cabin.

  2. That is a stunning image. I didn’t realize how big the cabin was. I’m not sure what the overall theme would be, but for some reason, I think this belongs on a (large) calendar or just blown up and hung on a wall in a quiet room.

    1. Thank you so much Dan! Hum…maybe next time there’s a special at the print lab I use I’ll print it and see how it looks. I’ve never made a calendar, but have dreams of putting together a coffee table book that is until I look at the programs to make one, and am overwhelmed by the jargon, and templates. So, it’s still a dream. 😭
