  1. Look at all the snow geese! The huge gathering along the water with the peach and lavender blushed sky was outstanding, Deborah. The individuals reading their detailed photoshoots were so beautifully captured.

  2. Deborah; If a picture = 1,000 words then your word count is waaay up there! Lovely job catching the snowies in flight and the mass lift off. We see the snowies up north here in smaller numbers but it would be a real treat to see them on-mass.

    1. Thank you so much Dan! You didn’t notice that I wasn’t totally wordless? I did give it a little intro and added my usual camera info. Hope that’s not cheating for a Wordless Wednesday post. I guess I can’t be totally wordless either. 🙂

    1. Thank you so much Amy! It’s pretty neat to see them all take to the sky at once. It’s usually an Eagle or Harrier Hawk that comes by looking for a meal that sets them off. The noise! The honking and squawking is so loud and amazing.

Really, even when you lived in FL you didn’t see whole flocks of migrating birds on the ponds like this? I know birds winter there too.

A penny for your thoughts...
