Our #1 Grandson will turn 4 just before Christmas! I can’t believe how fast he’s grown!
His favorite Halloween character is Jack Skellington from the movie Nightmare Before Christmas. He thinks skeletons are the neatest goulie on Halloween.
He’s chosen a Nightmare Before Christmas theme for his Birthday. He was so happy to find a Jack Skellington Christmas ornament, and cap while shopping recently.
Here he is with both the cap and ornament in our Christmastown. 🙂

More to come…
Your photography is stunning! What a great picture of your grandson- I love the lights on the tree!!
Thank you so much Amie Elna! I used the star feature in my camera’s “tools” section. You may have something like it on your camera. If not there are screw on star filters you can purchase to achieve the same effect with lights.
Awesome- thanks for the advice- someday I’ll get a real camera (although my iPhone does a decent job). My problem… I’ve only developed a handful of pictures since Eli was born! It’s so overwhelming to choose!!
I’m printing a lot less these days too. I did print two copies of this image though. #1 Grandson picked a frame and he gave his Mom the picture framed for Christmas.
My iPhone 7+ is a huge step up from the iPhone 5. I’m enjoying and using this camera more. He-Man even gave me some lenses to use with it. I’ve been using the macro lens a bit and having fun.
Oooh, I like the idea of a lens for my phone! What a great picture to frame!
Check out the Ollo Clip cell phone lenses. Yes, his Mommy loved it. It’s sitting on her desk at work now. 🙂
Absolutely adorable!!
Thank you so much!!
Thank you so much!
He’s a cutie!! My youngest son loved that movie too…he knew all the words and could recite them at a moment’s notice! Hope he has a wonderful birthday 🙂
Thank you Linda!
Our boy is like that…he knows all the words to the It’s Halloween song too. 🙂
🙂 🙂
This is so sweet! Lovely thanks for sharing this!
Thank you so much Lynn!
Such a joy Deborah! The photo is lovely
He certainly has brought the Magic of the Season back into our house. 🙂 Thanks Lynn!
I am sure!
I hope this handsome little boy of yours gets everything on his birthday and Christmas lists. 🙂
Thank you so much Judy. Me too! 🙂
Gorgeous picture!
Thank you so much Joy!
What a sweet image… Merry Christmas little man!
Thank you so much Louise!
The joy of childhood! Nicely done making us feel the wonder of Christmas!
Ah, thank you so much for this lovely comment Laura!
You’re welcome :))
🙂
I also spy an adorable boy who shows joy in every part of his body, Deborah. What a handsome child he is! There are a few children I have met who like the character, Jake Skellington.
Your photograph is so glittery with the lights “twinkling!”
Do I spy the big pink bunny from “A Christmas Story?”
Thank you so much Robin! He’s got a happy disposition thankfully.
That’s a star filter in my little Lumix FZ200 camera. I have a star filter for my interchangeable lenses somewhere, but need to find it. It’s a fun filter at Christmas.
Yes, you do spy the Pink Nightmare Bunny costume Ralphie’s Aunt made him.
We love A Christmas Story and watch it every Christmas season.
Do you spy the Leg Lamp? There are two near Ralphie. There’s also Ralphie on the slide at the department store, the Oh Fudge ornament, and the Old Man and Ralphie ornament called the Bumpuses there too. I wish I had collected them all as they came out, but I have missed some.
That’s pretty cool 🙂
🙂 Thanks Dan! I’m having fun with the Star Filter.
