I’ve been down for the count all week with a cold/sinus infection. Today is the first day I’ve felt like I’m going to get over it, even with the case of Laryngitis I woke up with this morning.

I spent a little while getting some sun out back today, and found I wasn’t alone. This little guy was on the deck soaking up the rays too.

I hope you’re all well, and have a great week-end!

  1. Great shot! I hope you’re feeling better 🙂

  2. It’s funny, I don’t like snakes but these guys are kinda cute. Amazing what a few legs can do for your appearance. Great photo!

  3. Sorry to hear you are feeling low but getting a good shot of a solar powered lizard is bound to raise a persons spirits. Get well soon.

  4. There has been something going around here, too, that is giving people sinus infections. yuck. I hope you are feeling better quickly now. Love the lizard~I miss seeing them. This one looks like he is holdiing up his toes, as if the surface were hot.

    • I blame my symptoms on the crazy barometric pressure we’ve been having lately. I hope you don’t get the cold going around!

This lizard was holding up one foot. Probably his heat valve. 🙂 The deck boards do get really hot. I can’t walk or stand on it without shoes on hot afternoons. Diva Dog goes out to lay on the warm deck in the late morning, but by afternoon on warm days she moves to the cool patio which is cement/pavers.

I’m so surprised this Lizard lives in my suburban backyard! Happy about it, but surprised none-the-less. 🙂
