For Week 2 of Leanne Cole’s Monochrome Madness is an image I made Saturday evening in Kirby Cove, Sausalito, CA.
This Anchor tie is part of an old pier that probably washed up on the beach. San Francisco, CA, Fort Point, and the Golden Gate Bridge South Tower are in the background.

Lovely shot. I knew you would become a master at B&W.
Thank you so much Jackie! You’re far too kind! xx
Cool shot Deborah; Solitude so near to something as busy as the Golden Gate Bridge. Love the evidence of wear and rust on the tie down rings and still showing a great DOF
Thank you so much Harold! You’re so right it did feel that way. There were only about 10 people there the whole 4 hours I was there.
I love this photo! I’ve been to Ft Point and this brings back some wonderful memories. Thanks!
Thank you so much Dan! I have only been to Ft. Point a couple of times. The first time we arrived late in the afternoon and they were closing in 45 minutes. That was not enough time! The next time I went they were closed. Sigh. I do need to get back there.
