It was a gorgeous sunny day in Yosemite. In February! The little bit of snow we had up here last week from the 3 day storm has all melted.

Yosemite Falls from Swinging Bridge

The meadows are brown, and dry since there has been very little rain, and next to no snow this year, but

I gotta tell ya…no matter what time of year it is or the conditions, this view never gets old!

    • Was he right! It’s very humbling standing under those massive granite mountains, and they do speak to you. Thanks for sharing that quote Robert!

  4. The view is beautiful!

  5. Their really is a special beauty there, isn’t there? You’ve captured it so well.

    • Thank you so much Melissa! It really is a wonderful park. It’s #1 on my list of favorite National Parks.

  6. I was there over 30 years ago. Thanks for the memory jog, that’s a beautiful angle on the falls.

    • Thank you so much Dan! I bet the trees along the bank of the Merced River here have grown quite a bit in the time since you were last here. One day they’ll probably obscure the view completely.
