I’m very jealous. I saw a yellow-bellied sapsucker pass through our yard briefly last fall. Didn’t have time to catch a shot. Terrific photo.
Thank you Christine! I haven’t seen a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, but read on one of the birding boards there’s one not too far from me. I hope I get to see it this Spring. I hope the one you saw comes back this Fall and you get a shot of it. Perhaps tempt it to stay longer with something it likes to eat. 🙂
