A couple of friends reminded me about this Heavenly event; Jupiter is right next to the Moon. Jupiter’s Moons may be visible to those with scopes. I hadn’t planned to shoot it. Then I went outside to see it and had to try. I couldn’t see Jupiter’s moons with my eyes or the lens so, I will enjoy the work of others like my friend Andy aka Stargazer95050, Rico, and SteventheAmusing who have telescopes and star trackers.
The moon is really high tonight so there is no hope of getting any foreground. It was worth the neck discomfort looking this high up.
Get out and look at it if you can. It won’t happen again until 2026.
