Looks almost like a stand-off. Fantastic photos, and hand held, even! That Nikkor is a great performer. I love mine, and I should use it more often…

  Thank you Wayne! I won’t part with this lens. It’s the only lens I own with VR!
  It does a wonderful job if you’re in range. I was a bit too short here. I do wish for more reach. I’m saving for a long Prime that will take a TC so I get 600mm, but by the time I save up the money I’m afraid I’ll be too old and frail to handle it. “)
