I loved the reflected lines in this lagoon and thought I’d play with the movement and de-focusing again while the light was so nice then as I pushed the shutter release this cormorant flew into the frame. When I looked at it in playback I really liked the contrast, and placement I got him in the frame. A happy accident!

Deborah, a really stunning image. The composition with the cormorant is spot on. I like the exposure as well. It looks as if the bigger sensor is making a huge difference?
