My cat used to assume that pose atop her favorite chair, and of course the squirrels spend their hot afternoons just like this. If this one isn’t a perfect example of utter relaxation, I don’t know what could be better!

I’d love to go back one day. No, we didn’t go there, but we did see the Mayan Ruins at Altun Ha in Belize, and also the ones in Chichen Itza in Mexico. They’re all amazing!

I’d like to go back to Honduras, too, but stories in the news make me leery of crime there, especially as someone who’d be walking around with thousands of dollars of camera equipment.

I hear that! When I went to Mexico I took a less expensive camera and a kit lens just in case I was robbed, and I was with a group in both places so I felt a bit safer. I’ve always insured all my gear just in case anyway.

I love how you captured it with its eyes closed! It’s amazingly emotive, and I couldn’t help but smile as I was looking at it (even though I just woke up 🙃). May I ask where this was taken and what kind of 🐒 it is? Was it all alone? Were others around it?

I still smile when I am rummaging around my archives and stumble on this folder. It’s a White-face Monkey taken in Roatan, Honduras. There were quite a few of them but, this one wasn’t impressed with our visit. 😂
