Oh, this is the cutest little thing! What a capture!
Thank you so much! I’m glad you think so too.
Squirrels are plentiful in our neighborhood and I often see one in the trees outside my computer-room window. In fact one jumped from the nearest tree onto the roof of our house just a few minutes ago. Do you have to leave home to see squirrels?
No, we have ground squirrels all over because behind our house is a golf course and behind it are miles of open space/flood plane for the Carson River. To see cuter little squirrels like this one, or the ones with bushy tails I have to go up to the mountains which thankfully, isn’t too far.
Adorable friend you made, Deborah, and lovely photo.
How adorable! You are a wonderful photographer, Deborah. Few can capture emotion, and you are one of the few.
Oh, thank you so much, Jennie! You’re too kind!! 🥰
You’re most welcome, Deborah!
He looks like he’s checking to see if it is safe to come out. 🙂
It did that then decided it was safe and started munching on something. 😂
Wonderful shot, Deborah! A great moment to capture 😊
Thank you, Belinda!
Wonderful photo Deborah.
Thank you Cheryl!!! 🥰
I’ve been meaning to ask you, why are my comments on your site in moderation? Did I say something I shouldn’t have?
Oh no. All comments go to moderation first. I avoid a lot of spam that way. I may change it though. Not as much problem with that over on Blogger.
Okay, I get it now! 😀
👍🏻
Aww, that is the cutest thing ! what a wonderful capture Deborah, the way he peeks over the edge. I always love seeing them in posts, as we do not have them here, and we so loved pursuing them in Britain, especially the rare native red squirrel in Scotland.
Thank you, Ashley!! No red squirrels or squirrels at all? We don’t have bushy tailed squirrels where we live now but had them in Calif. I miss the bushy tailed ones. I never imagined living somewhere they didn’t!!!
What a cute picture, Deborah! The light, colours and composition – wonderful!
Thank you, Peter. I’m glad you think it’s cute too! The light was great just then.
Awesome shot, it’s adorable and love the wood, you captured the lighting perfectly!
Very cute, Deborah.
I’m glad you think so too! 😀

Wonderful! 🙂
It’s cute isn’t it. Thanks, Pit!!
He/she is adorable! I love how you included so much of the dark undefined space. The stump and your little buddy really pop!
Thank you so much, Dan! The morning light was hitting it and that stump just right. 😀
It’s a beautiful image.
