More to come…
As much as I like the color of the door, the IOOF above it amuses me because it looks at first glance (to me, at least), like the number 100 followed by an F, then as though it were an I, two zeros, and an F. Finally I realized what it really was. Phew! I’m exhausted. 🙂

LOL! Gordon and Judy had fun with the address too.
Nice mystery door; when its plain and simple Blue you don’t have to say much because its a statement in itself! At quick glance I thought it said Starbucks and wondered if they were doing a new look and then I saw the references to dancing (there is a Stardust Room in a SF hotel which is a well know venue for dancing). Too bad they couldn’t get the building number “1” changed to “H” as it would be more representative of a dancing room (H00F).
ROFL!! That’s funny Gordon!
Finally I discovered your door:):) No history! (teasing, because mine never do, lol). Have a graat rest of the week, Deborah!
ROFL!!! You’re so funny! I couldn’t find any information online or on the building about its history, but I’m chompin at the bit for some!
I’ll be passing by your way on Saturday. I’m heading North to look at some houses. Are you guys free for dinner? If so where’s a great place to dine? It would fab to meet-up with you!
Wrote you an email about a possibility in Sacramento as well as Jackson since I don’t know which freeways you’re traveling:)
I forgot to ask in my E-mail around which time you guys plan to leave. Thanks-an excited:)
I replied! I hope we’re able to Meet-Up! That would be awesome!
I hope to be done looking at houses by 4pm but will txt you and let you know how it’s going while we’re looking. We have 6 houses on our list this trip. It could go very fast if we don’t like any of them.
This is a beauty of a door!
Thank you Candy!
A lovely periwinkle door does dress up the concrete surrounding.
Thank you Denny! It does doesn’t it.
This is lovely, Deborah! Very inviting color – a wonderful photo!!!
Thank you so much Jill!
Nice doors. Independent Order of Odd Fellows confuses me as much as Loyal Order of Moose. 🙂
? Huh? You lost me here Judy. Perhaps I’m having a really off day. 🙂
I was referring to the “IOOF” over the door. Sorry about the confusion – I knew what I meant. 🙂
Love the color and the feel of everything!
Thank you so much Lynn!
Most welcome
xx
I love the color on this one 🙂
Thank you Norm! It is a lovely shade of blue isn’t it.
Me too. Love that blue. It reminds me of the town that is painted blue.
The town in Morocco? Oh how I’d love to visit that town! 🙂
Yes, me too!
This is a lovely door, Deborah, but now I’m intrigued. What’s behind it ?
Thank you Dan! I wondered if it was still being used as a dance studio. It was all quite when I was there.
Looks like it would make a nice cafe.
Oh it would! btw: the whole building is kind of neat, but I didn’t share it because-car in the front of it. 😦
We really need the right to call a tow truck 😉
+1!
