I loved the variegated colors in this Liquid Amber leaf so, I had a go at painting one using my Cotman Travel Palette.
This Is one of the few trees that we have here in N. Ca. with leaves that turn red in the Fall.

Lovely. I like how you used a darker color to line one edge, while letting the opposite edge get lost a little bit. Very effective.
