eek!! Great shot!
LOL! EEK! Is right! I kept thinking and chanting while imaging this spider, ” Please don’t jump on me, please don’t walk closer to me, please just stay still and wonder about me as I’m wondering about you! I”ll leave you alone in just a second…really. I won’t hurt you!” I didn’t hurt it. I moved away, chimped my images and when I looked back at the Geranium stalk…the Grass Spider was gone. It was enough.
lol! they are rather fascinating but so creepy!!
🙂
Wonderfully captured. So much details and such a strong composition.
Thank you so much Otto!
Awesome~ I enjoy seeing spiders…so long as they aren’t in my hair! 🙂
Thank you so much Melissa! Me too! One morning while hiking in the dark up to Delicate Arch to photograph sunrise I walked through a huge spider web. I never saw it coming! I was so freaked out! I felt like there were spiders on me on and off all day. I was so happy to get back to shower.
Isn’t it funny how that experience can make your skin crawl? ick. You remind me of when I boarded a horse and several of us would ride out on the trails together. Nobody wanted to go first, for that reason! 🙂
