I went out on the deck to soak up the morning sun for a minute, and Diva Dog followed me out and did the same thing on the warm patio. She’s kinda keeping an eye on me too.

I purchased an old kit lens for the D700. There are times I find one would be handy. I did like my old 18-55mm and have missed it a few times. I have a few days to try this one out to decide if it’s a keeper or not. I haven’t used it much yet, but I like this photo. This lens has a 1:2 macro feature as well. That will come in handy!
